Our namesake is the Golden Leaf Moth (wingia aurata), a beautiful golden moth found in south-eastern Australia. You might find it hanging around many of the federal government buildings in Canberra and surrounds. It feeds on gum leaves, looks a bit like a banana, and generally just gets on with it. Sounds pretty good to me.
